[Lucy laughs.] is a 123 page epic poem that is pretending to be a screenplay. It meditates on topics of mental health exploring themes of mental illness, trauma recovery, support systems, and medications. Through the lens of magical realism, this story depicts one woman's journey to hell and back, through the institutional medical system and out to the other side. This story is one of triumph and meant to both educate and inspire.
